My first handgun, (used) Ruger GP100 .357 with 4" barrel

Thanks y'all for helping me pick my first handgun! The last post I made was so overwhelmingly positive for the GP100 that I pulled the trigger on it (ha, I kill me.....). 541 after tax, seems very gently used. Extremely excited to shoot it in the near future, already got some .38 special for plinking, gonna find some .357 for in the house just in case. Thanks again for the help, glad to join the family!SHAREit Appvn

Congrats on the new blaster. Get some dry fire cycles in, revolvers are a great teaching tool.

You will eventually want some speedloaders.

I prefer/recommend Safariland Comp III but also use Comp II.

Congratulations. I used mine going through a basic academy when wheel guns were still a thing. That was 30ish years ago.

Learn to load. That $25 box of .357 ammo costs me about $6.00 or $6.50 to make.

Awesome choice if it fits you! I wish my hands were smaller- that trigger pinches against either the top of the frame OR the trigger guard at the bottom. But I would put up with it for the right deal lol
