    You’re correct.

Which RMR for my Sig Legion 226

As I mentioned, this RMR Type 2 RM06 on my Glock G45 MOS is my first RDS.

I’m finding I like the auto mode at night. It steps down to a low setting that’s just about right in the pitch dark without having to adjust manually. I do find myself switching to manual mode in daylight as the dot is typically brighter than I prefer on auto.

There will be another learning/training curve with it on night vision mode as I’m patiently awaiting arrival of my BNVD order. NVD was another reason I went with an RMR in addition to my aging eyes.

...the manual adjustable version. Anyone have thoughts on the auto adjustable vs. manual adjustable?

I'm also curious about the SRO, are they worth consideration?

What happens at night when you light up your white light?

In auto mode I assume you’re asking about?

It’s just fine with my Surefire X300 Ultra. There is the SLIGHT delay for the dot to kick up in intensity when the light comes on but I’ve found it’s about the same lag as it takes my eyes to adjust to the light coming on.

Of note, my X300 Ultra is the older 500 lumen version and washout is not an issue at all including wall reflection. I have tried my Surefire Fury handheld at 1500 lumens and it does washout in reflection at about 2-3 feet from the wall but that close what does it matter?

These are at least my experiences.

    I started with an rmr09 t1 and bought a type2 for my 2nd pistol.

I think a 1moa dot would be fine, but have not had an issue with the 3moa dot.
I will likely get the sro next time I buy one.
