(1) reliability (its a glock, it will be reliable)
(2) recoil (slightly snappier then a pistol chambered in 40)
(3) your thoughts about this gun! (do it, i have been debating on getting a dedicated pistol in 357, all i use is conversion barrels.)

I for several years was a huge .357sig fan.
I do feel that going longer in the barrel is better, not unlike a 357 mag. I have a Glock 35 converted to .357 sig and a Glock 32. The Glock 35 is a much softer shooting pistol and has less blast.
But then the ammo company I was using started to slip in quality control and I sat down and really studied the whole pistol ballistics thing. Which a combination of these 2 things pushed me back to 9mm.
So for me the .357 sig became like the woman that was a great lot of fun to be with, but she was more high maintenance than the more steady and dependably 9mm.

If you do go with 357Sig, save your brass and keep it sorted. Even if you don't reload, you can sell the cases for good $$$.
