Just realized you wanted backpack style. Savior makes this one too. https://www.amazon.com/Savior-Equipm...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

I can only speak about the first one I posted about and the quality and durability is top notch, especially for the price. The zippers are working flawlessly and I have no worries about the material ripping as it’s very heavy duty. I’m sure the quality is equally as good on the specialist model. If I only carried one SBR to the range, I’d buy one.

There are times when I'd like to be able to keep the pistol nearby, discreetly but still have room for a little range gear, lunch or a spare layer or a laptop. Most of the "sbr" or improvised packs I've found are one big compartment, so if you want to grab something, you're exposing the weapon.

I'm really looking for something with a rear compartment for a pistol with a law folder and a decent sized, say 10L+, front compartment. I don't really want to use a Goruck GR2 for this purpose, but I'm not having much luck. Any good leads would be much appreciated.

I bought a 30" duffle bag and a 30" discreet rifle case from Midwayusa to go in it, for my 11. 5" non- folding pistol. Went ahead and grabbed a 6 mag sling bag for ammo and med. Everything fits nicely in the duffle with room for a plate carrier and other gear in the future. None of the items were very expensive and they seem well constructed for what I paid.

Idk maybe it's just me but all those bags look uber tactical and not at all discreet. And some you have to hold like a giant nylon briefcase.

I use a regular old school bag. Like the kind you take to school. It has two main compartments and a bunch of smaller ones. I can, and have brought this everywhere and no one thinks twice. Even into a formal restaurant. Any questions and it's just my laptop that I didn't want to leave in the car! Otherwise it fits under a chair, under the table, on the floor between your legs.

The downside is the size of the gun it can hold. I think it maxes out around 19 inches and that's printing a little. So either a smaller handgun or one that breaks in two.

Blackhawk used to do discrete bags... so I got a red racket bag. My AR pistol fits it perfectly.

I have another from Suarez that is a ukulele bag. More for my TAC-14... which I’ll toss back in the truck when I AOW it.

Your best bet might be hiking backpacks. It’s a snug fit but my osprey farpoint 40 fits my 10.3 with law folder in main compartment then it has a tablet laptop compartment on the front with extra room.

Yeah, that's along the lines of what I'm doing now.
