    11.5 barrel options

    I was looking to build a pistol or SBR in a 12.5" but since I'm going to have a 13.7 P+W I didn't see the point in a 12.5.
So, I think I'm going to go the 11.5 route and seems like the SBR/Pistol barrel length debates revolve around a properly sized gas port.
My question is who makes good barrels in a 11.5" that's properly gassed.
I will be shooting suppressed about half the time or more and don't want to deal with issues(functionality/reliability). I wouldn't be against a 10.5 either but so far my reading seems to steer me toward a 11.5
For this build, it will be geared toward a compact but reliability platform with effective performance for the caliber.
Some of ya may see this or similar post in another forum, just so I can get opinions/experiences from different folks.
But again, need names for who makes a properly gassed barrel for length. One I was looking at was Rosco Manf.

BCM's 11.5 is awesome and runs good suppressed, but the RGP sionics is choked down a little more.

Triarc has 11.5” barrels with regular ports or reduced for suppressed use.

AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

The port on the BA 11.3” is similarly sized. I think the Colt one is supposed to be similar, as well.

My BCM was VERY overgassed (purchased last year), but a $60 BRT gas tube has it running great now.
I like the barrel otherwise, no experience with any other 11.5".

My BA Hanson 11.3" is gassed well for a non-NFA gun, but Sionics RGP is surely a great choice for primarily supressed use.

If you can drive a roll pin out and a new one in, Black River Tactical reduced port gas tubes are affordable and are reported to work well.

I have used the Ballistic Advantage 11.3” and liked it.

I have a suppressed-only Black River Tactical barrel that is still waiting on its suppressor.

If In the market for a mixed use 11.3/11.5, is probably get either of those based on my personal experience. As others have mentioned, the Sionics RGP get a lot of positive comments. I’d probably see about the ERGP, too.

Not many rounds so far but my BCM 11.5 seems to run well with a DeadAir SandmanS on it and without it.

Wow. We've had good luck with the BCM barrels. They cranked up the gas tube price to $60??? I couldn't pull the trigger at $50.

Are the BA's chrome lined? (I'm not familiar with them) And the RGP I run gets no suppressed use, it's just gassed right as is. The ERGP is the better choice for primarily suppressed use.
