    Sharp's Lower?

    Hello,
I have a blemished Sharp's lower that I am going to build on. Has anyone else ever used one of these. I've had it so long I don't have any paperwork on it and it looks like Sharp's doesn't make lowers any more. Trying to determine if they were mil-spec or similar.

    Thanks

Isn't that the brand that makes all the lowers with crazy faces, skulls and shark teeth and the like? It seems like a company making products like that are more concerned about form over function. I can't speak to the specs on it, but I think I'd have a hard time starting a build with a lower from them when there are so many other quality lowers available for around $100 or less.

^^Believe you’re thinking of “Strike”, not Sharp.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

Spikes makes some crazy (and funny) roll marks, but Sharp Bros is who I'm talking about.

Let me take a photo and post it. I'm also trying to finish up my AR-10 so my ability to focus and work has me frazzled.

I built a cheap beater on one of those years ago. Functioned fine. The mag release button hole was crooked but worked.
