That's where those FSP rails are nice, if you can find one. I can usually get a 6p style light mounted fine on the top pic rail with a Gear Sector mount, but sling attachements and stubby VFGs can be a challenge to get a comfy set up.
In the first pic I posted earlier, I had a 6P in a Vltor off set mount which put the light pretty much where the Gear Sector would. After shouldering it for a while, I felt confident I would be banging up against it on a regular basis when I wrap my thumb up top. I moved that light and mount to my dissipator where it is much better suited.
Still need range time with this, but there is no way I'm going to a California range on 4th of July weekend. I'll sneak over to one during the week when I have an afternoon off.
