Any interest in a Glock 26X (19 grip 26 slide)?
Particularly if they added a rail.

I'd rather have a 26L (26 frame 19 slide).
Gettin' down innagrass.
Let's Go Brandon!
I think that is readily achievable with aftermarket stuff already, or by simply cutting down the grip of a G19.

The problem with most folks when running a 26 frame is they add finger or mag extensions and end up with nearly a 19 height.

No.
A subgroup of AIWB CCW folks (me for one) have no issue with the width of a g19/17 - it is the SLIDE LENGTH when seated that causes problems. The pistol you describe would go a long way towards solving THAT issue, and still maintaining mag compatibility with most glocks.

As has been noted,
Depending on height, leg length to torso ratio,
It is an appreciable difference and interest to some.
I do find a G26 with the mag base that gives me 13 total rounds and a good grip to be very handy sized and just enough length difference seated to be more comfortable than a 19.
I don’t find the width differences , a tenth of an inch or so, in the slim guns to be of an appreciable difference to me. Well, let me rephrase that. It is noticeable in the hand and when compared side by side. When put in a holster and tried on and worn it is not appreciable to me. I would buy a factory GEN5 gun that was essentially a 19 frame with a 26 upper.
But I have two 17s, three 19s, and a 26 already.
I’m not sure how it would go overall on the market.
