Can’t upload the video but this is a good shoot all day long.

So the police chief resigned and the mayor is already calling for the firing of the two officers. It won't be interpreted as a good shoot.
I-75/85 blocked, but quickly cleared.
Going to be a long hot summer.
Perp running. Officers giving chase.
Perp turning and pointing taser at officers. Visible just above the trunk of the red car in his right hand.

There is more video of him on top of the officers over powering them. He was a big boy and the two officers were not small either. Guess it's ok to be drunk and passed out in the drive-thru. Would have been no mention of him running over a white family out for a walk. Once again it's not about breaking the law, fighting cops and trying to escape. It's about loosing your life because of someone else. No f-ing accountability in this country anymore.

It is much easier to beat someone's ass (especially with two against one) than it is to physically restrain the subject. If you look at the video the cops could have pummeled this POS if their intent was an ass-beating. Hell, the cop behind him could have easily done a chokehold more than once but of course they can't do that, and you can see them wrestling unsuccessfully with the perp to restrain him and he got free and bolted.

In my line of work we are trained in “responsible restraint” that minimizes risk of injury to the subject. According to the program we use it takes a minimum of four people to “responsibly restrain” and seven is preferred. Of course, as you say, one person can easily do it by breaking the rules.

Floyd is buried, Minneapolis surrendered, we have multiple spin off threads now, Philly, ATL, Seattle, CHAZ, ... we'll have a funeral for this thread and lay it to rest. May this thread rest in peace.
Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.
