Got a buddy that lives there. He says there is full blown rioting happening. Target got looted and an Autozone is on fire.

What's the status of the "rioting?" Is it directed only against police, or is it a loot-and-burn like Baltimore or L.A. '92?
ETA: there are now photos of what appears to be looting from a Target (!) store. Might be employment for Roof Koreans in future.

There is always that group who will use any excuse to steal or destroy. Just look at any protest for anything. Antifa, gangs, White supremacist. They will all latch onto a peaceful protest and use it to push boundaries or get what they want. The more violence the better.

Can you give any examples of a white supremacist group looting a Target or Autozone? For that matter, can you give any examples of Antifa looting the same kind of stores?

I don't endorse either of those groups, or rioting by anyone, but I don't think your comparison is factual.

Notice I didn't just say looting. I said looting or destroying. Or just causing violence for that matter.

A very established pattern of behavior and response. How many times have we seen this now?

What stuns me even more than the callous muppet kneeling on his neck who never leans in to check on the suspect, is that the jerkoff officer interacting with the public didn't once even say over his shoulder to his partner, "check on him" or something to that effect, even if just to mollify the crowd. Instead, it was complete indifference. Amazing. I hope this hurts hard and deep for these guys.

It will be other cops that get ambushed in retaliation. It will be taxpayers who cover any judgements against the department.

I believe he knew that man was passed out from lack of oxygen, knew he would probably die from continued pressure, and either hoped he'd die or didn't care.

Whatever the charge he deserves many years in prison.

If the officer truly felt that way, he absolutely needs to be charged with murder. I wonder what the body cam footage will show. Hopefully there was audio that sheds additional light.
