They are emboldened because nobody's put a stop to their idiocy yet.

Tossing fireworks at a cop isn't the smartest thing I would ever think of doing. Yet, they keep doing it because the LEOs aren't allowed to kick the shit out of them for being stupid.

They will be able to come and take anything they want within that 24 hours. Then reparations will be complete and the crying liberals will save money on broken windows.
Sorta like a Black Friday PURGE movie.

I get that under this particular set of circumstances this is b.s. however under normal circumstances local law enforcement has final say in their jurisdiction and feds do not supersede that. That’s how we can have sheriffs and chiefs of police that refuse to enforce silly federal and state gun laws. We need to make sure that doesn’t doesn’t swing back too hard the other way. Feds do not and should not have sweeping authority to operate without permission or the professional courtesy (even if not reciprocated) to notify them of operations.

    lol

The Austin Police Women's Association president Melanie Rodriguez responded, requesting Chief Brian Manley to remove the executive protection unit that helps protect the city council.
"If the mayor and council need special protection they can hire it themselves or put it in a rider for the next budget that removes $150 million from our department," she said.

"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name

With that being said, the local police actively worked with the rioters against ICE agents. Not cool.
    Whiskey

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one

13th Congressional District of Texas. Roughly from Amarillo to the borders of Ft. Worth. Covers lots of ground, not a lot of people, multi generation farmers and ranchers, hard scrabble, dry land, agriculture.... We include for example Randall County which since 1952 (When the rest of the south was still voting for Democrats) has never given less than 74% of it's vote to the Republican Nominee for President. LBJ was so pissed off about the Republican support in this area, to punish Amarillo, he closed their SAC base --at the height of the Cold War.

We have had three carbine classes taught by National Level trainers here in 3 months- that I KNOW of. Several pistol classes as well. All were sold out with waiting lists. Hell, Sage is running a NIGHT CARBINE OPERATORS course here and IT is sold out with waiting list. That's not an easy class to sell out I would think when you're talking guys have to have $3k worth of Kit just to show up plus 1,000 rounds- which is now $600 and good luck finding it, plus tuition......

Our Rifle Club has hosted four different churches in the area who brought in trainers to work with newly developed Church Security Teams within the last year. Several others with existing teams have been calendared for range days/quals.....I've been a member of "management" with the Club for 25 years, never seen this before.

There are many, private, and serious conversations being had right now among friends and families here. Even prior to the Corona Crap people were "gearing up". For example- I know several EMT's that teach the local "Stop the Bleed" course through our community college. They were OVER RUN with requests from everything from Churches to employers large and small to civic groups etc...asking for classes. Hell, the Ladies Quilting Circle at my Church had them in (made them a nice potluck too!)!.... They had $100k in funding and ran out within about 6 months!

Okay, how stupid to you have to be to continue charging a police line after they have already pepper sprayed you twice?

Does this mean the Feds are going back in?

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...elated-crimes/

Oregon State Police announced they will pull out of downtown Portland where nightly protests have continued for weeks, sometimes devolving into late-night clashes with law enforcement. The decision came after the county district attorney said Tuesday that he will not prosecute most cases against protesters who are arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, interfering with a peace officer or other low-level offenses.

“The Oregon State Police is continually reassessing our resources and the needs of our partner agencies and at this time we are inclined to move those resources back to counties where prosecution of criminal conduct is still a priority,” Fox said. “Troopers are returning to the communities that they are assigned to serve and protect.”
