I am waiting to hear sentencing for the ones being prosecuted and then I think that information should be made very public as a deterrent. As an aside, more along the lines of stuff still going on in these protests and "autonomous zones," President's press secretary was asked 12 questions about the confederate flag and not one about the five children shot to death over the weekend. "I didn't receive one question about New York City's shootings doubling for the third straight week and over the last seven days, shootings skyrocket by 142%. Not one question. I didn't receive one question about five children who were killed..."

Sickening watching the police have to stand there and just take it. I'm wondering that if they aren't permitted to "shoot back" would they appreciate a couple dozen people on their side, maybe shooting frozen paintballs at the specific offenders seen assaulting the officers? I'd suggest bricks but the dopes that don't catch one in the face might throw them back and create more injured police officers. Paint rounds would be strictly for marking the offenders for later prosecution of course.
