I'm pretty sure here in Texas you would likely be No Billed almost immediately. Of course this is the hinterlands, not Austin or San Antonio.

Pretty sure in my search for FL I came upon info for NY and it was pretty much the same as everywhere else. Arson in progress is seen as a direct threat. But I don't play a lawyer on TV or real life so...

But you are right about testing this law very soon. These leftist terrorists are escalating their activities.

Speaking of use of armed force, here's your gem of the week;
Apparently some protestors were going to try to make their way to a police Chief's house in Seattle.
Some locals were like "hippity hoppity get off our property" and blocked the road through their 'hood while armed.
Cue the screaming and waterworks by the wannabe commies. I find it funny that they also suddenly care about their taxes and right of way on roads too...

Protestor: “We are peaceful! You pointed a gun at my face!”

Resident: “That’s why you are peaceful.”

At least some people are starting to 'get it'.

I feel that it already is being tested through the McCloskys in MO. A state WITH Castle Doctrine has two citizens being tried in the court of public opinion and attempted to be charged and punished under the law. The precedent to charge those who would or may "push back" is trying to be set. I would also venture that it has been set with the knowledge being put in place where even in a state with Castle Doctrine as Law, you can't find security in it alone if you are put in a place where you need to act.

Given that same scenario in a state with a more Liberal government administration or worse yet, a state without Castle Doctrine, and you will see them punished for it.

The Mc Closky's in Missouri fortunately didn't have to fire a shot in anger. I'm pretty sure someone armed inside a building repelling arsonists are going to rack up a body count.
I don't think it is going to matter how red the State is, someone will rise up and try to defend the arsonists.
We have a case here in Texas where an illegal alien was drunk and in an traffic accident that he caused, after the wreck he bit the other drivers ear off. Deported ? Nope, he had an Attorney that got him off because he was a dreamer. Couple of months later he killed a group of 4 motorcyclists who were former military and Law enforcement. Really? This is Texas after all so wtf?
