Riots in DC last night because police tried to stop a B/M riding a scooter on a sidewalk without a helmet. He fled on the scooter and crashed into a secondary car (non-LEO) as he tried to get away. Died at the hospital.

Of course, the family is saying there is no way he would have fled and they are sure the police purposely rammed the suspect into the oncoming car. His GF and mother to their three month old kid said he was getting his life together.

All hell is breaking loose here in Philadelphia: As of noon today; since last night 53 officers injured, 1 still hospitalized, 17 damaged vehicles, 172 arrests. Last night, roughly 1000 people descended on port richmond area, destroyed a shopping plaza, looted a walmart and broke a water main to flood it, destroyed local small businesses, robbed everything of value from the walmart. PPD held out from intervening. Wonder what the company who insures walmart will have to say about that? They should send the insurance bill/claim to the mayor or whoever is calling the shots to leave the rioters alone. PPd was out in force too. Hundreds of bike cops mustered at the federal building, loaded up trucks and busses to, presumably, take them to the rioting; must have detoured to make sure the mayor's house was safe. Saw the same muster tonight and now sitting in the FBI Ops Center just watching and waiting.

Can only hope that enough people are seeing through the BS and realize that the left/dems/media/hollywood are using all of this as their hail mary to try to defeat Trump and steer us back toward the insanity that the democrat party has become.

Sounds like good leadership in the blue... Somewhere in the chain of command.
Nothing good will come of trying to shutdown looting. That is how the cops end up in the hospital. Let them Escape from New York their neighbor hood if they care to...

There's still sections that are bad, some very bad but it's nowhere near what it was.

What is shown in the news is probably a few blocks at most in one small section of the city.

Maybe it's not the crack epidemic/MOVE days, but I don't think 1,300-ish shootings a year qualifies as "nowhere near what it was".

Been a while since you've been here? Tons of new construction, new bars, restaurants, new condos and townhomes. Even the old townhomes are remodeled and rebuilt. Granted not every single street...yet. but it's already too late to get on on the cheap real estate.
