Big city chiefs are always bumping around to all the major US PDs. As soon as they dump the morale of the department in the shitter and destroy the city by not fighting crime and sticking their tongues up the politicians buttholes, they get thrown under the bus for the city turning into a shithole, then get hired by some other big city. Rinse, repeat.

They had their best shot with Rick Ross, but he banged a subordinate and she complained when she didn't get her way and he got jettisoned. He was the most respected guy to come up through the PD to Commish since Sly Johnson.
Outlaw had her chance and the rank and file liked the things she said when she got hired. She seemed well reasoned, but comfortable with "hats and bats" if that's what was necessary. But, she's now lost the support of everyone ranked below Captain and she's unlikely to get them back if she continues to kowtow.
PPD is doomed unless they promote STRONG leadership from within.
Lol..they are strict with the uniform, especially the hat... I got pulled over once ( no ticket just a warning) and the cop spent a few seconds or more making sure his hat and looked correct before getting out of the car....he was very polite and professional though..
