    asr mount

    Have a spec war k, For the second time since i purchased it back in 2016.
    I managed to launch it down range.

    Yes I'm an idiot, 100 percent user error, it's going back to silencer co. this week.
    I'm guessing i tagged the locking collar as i was attaching it.

    Question, is it possible to adapt a more idiot proof mount to this can?
    Is there such a thing?

    You can check with Ecco machine. Last I heard he was pretty backed up though. Cost wise it probably doesn’t make sense on an otherwise functional can. My opinion only but I’d stick with what you have and just try to be more deliberate with it. I know shit happens though.

    DeadAir Keymo can replace the ASR system. It replaces the rear end of the can and you have to use Keymo flash hiders or brakes too. Total system replacement. It's a little heavier.

    Not on a Specwar it doesn't. ASR is proprietary to the Specwar line of cans and to my knowledge cannot be removed without significant surgery.
    In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear;
    and safe is such confiding, for nothing changes here:
    the storm may roar without me, my heart may low be laid;
    but God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?

    You're right. For some reason I read "Saker" instead of "Specwar." Good catch.

    To be honest, I'd try to pay a little more attention when mounting or dismounting the can. It is possible you might have some wear in the mount itself that SiCo can fix while it gets the 'spa' treatment. Also, check your QD on the rifle to make sure it isn't worn or dinged.
