Don't you think that a 7.62 x 25 might be a tad long for a G17 frame/magazine?

A large frame glock may be an avenue to consider, since the 10mm cartridge shows a SAAMI case length of 25.2 mm.

My dad has a Norinco (China) in 9mm.
It’s ok, especially for the $89 he paid back in the ‘90’s.
