Called HK Customer Service...
Basically one year warranty and not made anymore for 5.56
So I am SOL...oh well....lol
Does it still work/hold rounds?
Well I found the original receipt from HK...nothing about a warranty. this also disproves the original rep thinking these came from HKparts....
I will call again tomorrow...
I thought it looked different than their latest translucent mag but comparing the pics it was just a weird angle. How much did you use that mag?
I've got a few myself and did come from hkparts.

Talked with HK customer service again...the rep understood and was willing to give me a discount on a steel mag, but I told him not to worry about it...I did appreciate his help.... took a hammer to the damaged mag and it took 5 to 6 tries to break it..lol
Better off with steel. They look cool but do not last in temperature extremes. So far Magpul is the only polymer mag that can handle the temps in my region and I would not even waste my time on a transparent mag. I have a friend who has HKs and he has a bin of broken mags. Pretty sad HK does not warranty them longer than a year, this on itself is a dead giveaway to their intended lifespan. I love HK MP subs but we always used steel mags. If I remember correctly the UMP has a polymer mag that had to be revised with steel reinforcement fees lips due to fiber polymer weakness. Hopefully HK figures it out or at least buys Magpul mags.
