ALG emr vo-e handguard-anyone have one? Heat dissipation?

I have a few of these and like them quite a bit, but haven't used them on a rifle yet.
Curious how they do with heat? They look like they'd get hot as a mono with any sustained fire.
Anyone done a few mag dumps with one? There practically giving them away on clearance at ALG now.

They get hot. I would get a rail sleeve.

I have a 15" one on an 18" rifle. It gets hot over the gas block. No surprise. A paracord wrap took care of the heat. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

Make it hot with holes in it and slightly lighter.

I have their mlok and the ALG proprietary mount system like is used on the front of that one and both types get hot fast, just part of being small diameter and light weight that venting has little to no effect on.

Get a wrap for it and you will like it, they are a nice rail.
