I Want a Keymod Rail for My BRN-180S! Anybody Making One?

I’m just not a fan of MLOK, I much prefer Keymod. Is anyone making a Keymod rail that will bolt right on to the factory mount?

I'd highly encourage you to adopt MLOK - literally everyone else has. Keymod, though it works, will be slowly fading away.

Aside from your odd infatuation with an inferior rail - How has the 180S held up ?

OP: "I don't like MLOK. Who makes a keymod handguard for my gun?"

1st response: "Keymod is inferior. Buy MLOK."

Jokes about reading comprehension aside I think you're out of luck. When searching "BRN-180 keymod" online the top result is actually this thread. As far as accessories you're looking to attach are concerned, what is your primary reason for avoiding MLOK, or is a cosmetic issue?

I have a take-off, never used 13" BCM KMR (keymod) Alpha Rail that I'm selling in a week or so. It doesn't mount to a factory nut, but depending on what route I go, I can send the BCM barrel nut with it.

If interested, send me a PM.

What gun do you propose he mount that on?

    Uh......you're correct.

I missed the BRN-180s in the title! I should never attempt to work and visit this site at the same time, lol.

You are much better off with the M-LOK. I have had Keymod handguards and no longer do. I much prefer the M-LOK, especially on my BRN-180.

I liked Keymod when it came out, and still feel like it is much quicker/easier to attach keymod attachments to a keymod rail than it is to attach MLOK attachments to an MLOK rail.

That being said, MLOK is an overall better system, and more durable, which is why keymod is fading away.

As for a BRN-180 specific rail, i couldn't find anything online or anywhere unfortunately.

He doesn't need to buy MLOK - he already has it. He just needs to learn to live w/ it, or forge his on rail - as there's no Keymod coming out for the BRN-180S. Hence my encouragement. ;-)
