We took a Sunday off and the Factory got cranking

    6.5CM for the win

    300WM 230 A-tips for the mile

Can of trusty 60grain Vmax predator boom booms

It is such a beautiful thing, I thought I might just share. Compliments of MM

Always great to see! Case prep always feels like it drags on, but when you fill those cans and boxes it puts a smile on your face.

Care to share the specifics on that 60gr vmax load? And do you prefer them over the 55gr version?

Markm is the factory. He did 24.8 XBR. It was very accurate but didn’t Chrono. Next Sunday for Chrono

55gr -60 makes no real Difference to me.

Nice - what rifle are you feeding those 6.5 Creedmoor rounds to?

I finally got all the parts for a 6.5 build, and am going to assemble it this weekend.

THAT is the complete truth. I love finding a batch of brass further along in prep that I had forgotten about.

23.8 gr XBR that was shooting in the mid 2900s.... 2950 or so out of the 20 inch bolt gun. It shot good, so I loaded the can up even though it could have been cranked up for more speed.

The bergara 6.5 bolt gun. Tough to chew up that brass in the gas gun and get it all blackened.

I shoot factory ammo in my 6.5 gas guns, the .60 S&B BTHP's, Am Gunner 140 BTHP & Norma 130's, and all weights of Hornady ELD's.

Got me thinking, what is your build sheet look like? Spec it out for us.

It's mostly Aero Precision M5 parts in FDE. I did snag a Criterion barrel and a Geissele trigger and mount, however. I'm thinking NightForce on the glass.

I'll dig out the order emails and make a list.

Those Bergara rifles are really nice for the money. I remember when you guys scored a deal on those two AR barrels that shot great. I kick myself for not getting one.

I honestly thought about a bolt gun, but decided on a gasser instead.

Good luck with your rifle. Adjustable gas block? Do you run suppressed?
