Would Russia do that to protect the Rodina? Maybe... depends on whose hands the nukes happened to be in and how much of a central government we still had.
I'm sure Russia has wargamed this, RECENTLY, but the SSBN's make any preemptive strike a suicide. A single Ohio-class boomer can kill 90% of the people in Russia or China. It doesn't seem realistic to think that no one would order a retaliation strike, and that's not even counting the possibility that the SSBN captains might have their own version of "Wing attack plan R" in case the entire leadership just up and disappears in vapor.

And any red state that can make a half-plausible claim of having the ability to use a couple nukes that were stored there would radically change the calculations on both sides of CW2, especially for nuke-em Smalwell. Again, not in the service, but with the frequency that USAF misplaces nuclear bombs, it seems like even a bluff could have some plausibility.

That's been my Balkanization premise all along. As things break down the "centralized authority" cannot account for all their Cans of Sunshine.

And in fact, there may be a breakaway group, even a particular State Government, that gains control of some- Look at Ukraine- they originally inherited many Soviet Era nukes--betting they wish they still had them....Anyway, Once any break away "Republic" etc... has nukes- nobody is going to be all that hot and bothered about "bringing them to heel", it will sober the shit out of people real fast..... Whether the "Coastal Elite" like it or not, it will be a Fait Accompli as the French say and only a question of drawing the new lines on the map, refugee flow management, and trade terms etc....

Sorry if this has been posted being 6mos ago...saw it on another forum & when I punched in the title to the youtube search it didn't pop up?? However, the first vid recommended was one disclaiming the Rockefeller study & comparisons to a planned covid. DuckDuckGo found it for me.

Anyway, not saying we're actually in lock step but found the coincidences creepy & thought some may have some insight into this as I don't recall the 10 year old paper.

Redonkulas/Popp had a couple of decent normie-geared videos that may be worth passing on to people who don't quite 'get it' yet.

Ever hear (or used) the old expression "you're driving me crazy!" in regards to a spouse or significant other? I used to think it was just an expression people used. Now, I see the left wearing it like a badge of honor.

Given the parameters for this scenario: Trump wins, tells Oregon, California and Washington to get their shit together or he's coming in after they lose complete control after the election. They tell him to piss off; he comes in anyway. They "revolt" and secede from the Union. China asks innocently "would you like assistance since the US has troops massing on your borders?" and they agree.

Think that can't happen? Oregon and Washington lost control of a major US city and a portion of another over the summer. The major cities in California are powder kegs waiting for a match. The Federal Government offered assistance. Idiots turned it down because of their irrational hatred of everything Trump. How much of a stretch do we have to make to see they'd be willing and even eager to accept outside "protection" from that rat bastard sitting in the White House?

The rightful president of Belarus, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, appeared via video last month before the United Nations Human Rights Council. Her country’s August election, she declared, had been “stolen.”

Despite objections from a representative of the Belarusian government, who said she had no right to address the body, Ms. Tikhanovskaya implored the United Nations to act. “Standing up for democratic principles and human rights is not interfering in internal affairs,” she insisted, “it is a universal question of human dignity.”

No one knows how Donald Trump’s Covid-19 diagnosis will affect his presidential campaign, but before falling ill, he repeatedly suggested that he won’t accept the results of the election, should he lose. In that case, Joe Biden should follow Ms. Tikhanovskaya’s example and appeal to the world for help.

Democrats should spend the coming weeks working to ensure that this year’s O.S.C.E. observer mission — despite being banned from many states, especially in the Deep South — can do exactly that. Then, if Mr. Trump and his allies halt the counting of ballots, or disregard them altogether, Democrats should use the O.S.C.E’s report as evidence in an appeal to the same body where Ms. Tikhanovskaya made hers: the U.N. Human Rights Council.

They should also lodge a complaint with the Organization of American States, a regional organization that has pledged “to respond rapidly and collectively in defense of democracy,” and which in 2009 used that mandate to suspend Honduras after its government carried out a coup.
Americans openly saying we need international intervention if they don't win. Not necessarily militarily, but I wouldn't imagine that's too far behind.

I mean, he's a relative nobody, but when people are outright thinking it's a good idea and speaking about it in public...

Zack Ford is a self-proclaimed gay atheist who works for a Soros-funded organization. Take all the loony left and he is even on the crazy fringe of that group.

What young Mr. Ford doesn't understand is that everything about his lifestyle, especially being gay, is a huge target for persecution--for real persecution--for almost any country who would want to invade.
