I have both of his AR books and wouldn't mind picking up the Vol 1 (7.62x39) AK book. They are really nice.

I got the volume II of the AR and AK series. Really interesting. Have to stop saying “Have it, have it...” as I page through in front of my wife...

Just out of the blue I decided to check on the status of my two back orders- AR15 Vol 1 (2nd Ed) and the Sig book. The signature AR15 Vol1 is in and they are fixin' to start shipping them. The Sig book is on schedule for mid Nov.

Da hell? I haven't even gotten a shipping notice. Ah, I got the signature edition which the update said LAV was going to do today. Maybe I'll have it by the weekend.

I keep on trying to get my wife to leave them out as our 'coffee table' books, but no dice

Got the Sig book yesterday, it is glorious P210/220/226 porn.....

While the imagery is great for the quality and detail and quantity, does anyone have any suggestions for a book that covers the actual engineering and history in more of a written word form?

I just found out my wife bought me a personalized copy of Germany volume two- I have volume one already. I enjoy a good surprise gift and I'm disappointed I found out but I'm excited. I did order the AR books on Monday, they just showed up today.
