CZ magazines seem to be as common as one-legged albino unicorns these days. Are the Mec-Gars good to go? Just looking for some people's experience. Thanks!

They are good to go. Use them all the time in my SP01.
I no longer own CZ's but ran a lot of them for a lot of years (75's, 85's, SP01's, the Kadet, etc).
Unless they've had any recent QA issues I haven't heard about, Mec-Gar CZ mags are good to go. I never saw any difference in durability or reliability between Mec-Gar and CZ oem mags. CZ Custom, a quality outfit I've done business with, supplies Mec-Gar mags along with CZ oems, which is an indicator of sorts. Also, you can look at user reviews of the Mec-Gars at a place like Midway or Brownells or Top Gun Supply. Results are overwhelmingly positive.
They are very good and ultra reliable.
They are often THE OEM mag
^^This. GTG.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
Awesome. I recently upgraded my carry gun to a P-01, with not too much experience with CZs in the past. Thanks for the info!
They make the OEM, I’m told. But you have to replace the steel baseplate.

Have six of them and used them in a recent class with zero issues . Well made and hold up good .
Another vote for mec-gar mags being GTG. All my extra SP01 mags are mec-gar and i have never had an issue.
