    Remington headed for Chapter 11?

Nothing firm yet, but it certainly wouldn't be surprising. Curious how the rumored sale to the Navajo Nation would work out. Would they shift production to Arizona or New Mexico?

"June 26 (Reuters) - Remington Arms Co, America’s oldest gun maker, is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is in advanced talks for a potential sale to the Navajo Nation, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday."

Article answer some of the questions I have had with Remington closing companies and not producing MSR parts. So it seems the Navajo will do to Remington what Seribus didn’t finish in destroying American icon.

On Remington's possible sale to the Navajo Nation, note that in 2018 the Nation tried to purchase the company and said it would end the sale of AR-15s to consumers, as well as fund "smart gun" research through military and law enforcement sales.

Makes sense. If your company is going under then start making products the consumer doesn’t want and cease making products they do want.

When you allow the mob to open casinos on your reservation and ignore the needs of your people, you have money for this kind of crap.

Then, they can join Colt on THAT list, as far as I'm concerned.

Wonder if the growing market of leftists clamoring for guns will fill the void left by their main customer base shunning them if they go full retard like that.

Oh I can't wait to see the libs start defending a gun manufacturer.... I can see the headlines now.

It’s almost kind of sad to see how much of a joke Remington has become. Growing up I can remember looking in awe of 870, 1100, even the 1187, along with countless 700’s. And my family was more of Winchester fans. Now I wouldn’t even consider a new production shotgun, rifle, and don’t even get me started on their handguns.
