Thread: Difficulty finding Winchester Ranger ammo

    Don’t know where DHS got our ammo when we switched to Glocks (147 grain 9mm... the tan box one), but that place really needs to check their moisture control. Jackets are all tarnished.

    CBP is switching loads the tail end of this year, but unsure if it is a good or bad thing. I personally like the 147 grain... hope they stick with it.

    I looked up that ammo and found a disclaimer that it was supposed to look like that due to something in the manufacturing process (don’t remember details), of course I have no clue about the veracity of that claim.
