The Case of Vanessa Guillien Fort Hood Tx.

    http://https://www.foxnews.com/us/te...e-army-soldier

I don't know how many of you have been following this, but what was tragic has now become horrific.
They found her body parts in what appears to be multiple graves miles apart.
She was a PFC and an Armorer. Her keys, wallet and ID were left behind at the arms room. She went missing April 22nd. They went to the home of her former supervisor and he committed suicide before taken in to custody.
This really pisses me off because if she was a weapon every swinging Richard on Fort Hood would have been looking for her.

The link you posted didn't work for me. This one is from the Austin Fox station: https://www.fox7austin.com/news/one-...-other-is-dead

So if I was reading this right from the other reports, didn't they also find the missing body or parts of it from another soldier that went missing? Serial killer in the ranks?

And yes, I've been following thankfully some people I know that live there were posting about it. Sad, I feel for her family.

In a harrowing twist, the search for Guillen kicks off the same week that investigators uncovered the skeletal remains of Private Gregory Wedel-Morales, one of two Fort Hood soldiers who went missing in 2019 just days before he was set to be discharged from military service. Investigations into the whereabouts of the other soldier, as well as the circumstances surrounding Morales’ death, remain ongoing.

And we will never know the details of everything that happened, but that was likely a very horrible death.

    I have so many questions.

I'm wondering if she had made any EO complaints, and if there's an investigation that finds out it was swept underneath the rug by her food chain, woof at those negative OER and NCOER's to come.

Something is just not right, I've been in units like that that were jacked up like that before. And when an investigation takes place after bypassing company and battalion/regiment EO reps because a lack of faith, when validated that boot in the ass sideways ain't pretty, especially at the chain and EO reps that failed to do their jobs.

Considering how you can't walk into a single building without having EO or SHARP contact info being availible, I am guessing that they seperated them pending investigation and unfortunately one of these parties opted out. Considering the heavy handed approach that I have seen Chain of Commands take in addressing these matters, somebody messed up bad

That’s a very good point that I hadn’t thought of and is extremely infuriating when put in that perspective.

Mom and Daughter were very close and Vanessa had complained about her immediate supervisor visor watching her shower and following her on a run.
Mom said Vanessa was intimidated and afraid of turning in a complaint.
I have my own opinions on how stuff like this happens here.
Fort Hood is like the epicenter for a sexual harassment, service members prostitution rings and a number of civilian run prostitution rings involving undocumented foreign nationals.
After 21 years of active duty and another fourteen years working inside units as a embedded tech, I was pretty disgusted. Toward the end of my time the Leadership was not involved in the basic day to day leadership.
