She's since deleted the Tweets, but it's too late. Here's the screenshot.

She's currently a professor at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and she's a retired AF Lt. Colonel.

Maybe I am way off base here but I didn’t read that as that Colonel saying she deserved to be killed. I read as her taking a potshot at how bad the system treats those that report sexual harassment.

It's a mix of cultures and a whole new set of rules to go by, so there is a learning cure, which can be rather brutal for young people not used to the new environment that they find themselves in.
As a Company Commander you're out there on a limb and you're trusting a lot of people to do the right thing, the Armorer and the Supply Sargent are two of the key people in that mix of "high risk" to your career. As a First Sergeant you're supporting your Company Commander by not only doing your duty, but looking out for the interests of the Unit.
That this guys behavior was what it was and no one noticed is beyond my scope of understanding, surely someone had noticed this guy was predatory, they usually hide it well, but they also usually crack and show themselves.
I'm at odds with the above and the statements from the Mother that someone was sexually harassing Vanessa. Why did she feel so afraid of outing this guy? Why did she think there would be some form of retribution? Has this happened in the past with this unit? Why didn't the Mom contact someone if the daughter was afraid?
It's difficult for me to understand how this guy got through the system unnoticed, it's not like these guys have a lot of self control. Someone had to know something. Sexual predators are going to have a difficult time with self control, usually their mouths go off at the right time and your warning light comes on and a Senior NCO will pick up on it.
Also all of this touchy feely kind of Leadership doesn't stop this stuff, it actually can hide or even support some of these guys doing the sexual predator stuff.

I did consider that she may have said that sarcastically. However, she has since removed the tweet and there's been no apparent explanation declaring it to be sarcastic or serious.

Sarcasm has no place when you are publicly remarking on a brutal, senseless murder. It's incredibly sad that this young lady was taken from her family, and some bitter old hag using the tragedy to push her agenda is reprehensible.

I understand that she was fired from her teaching position, and I hope that's true.

I Googled her and found that on Rate my Professors, she was not well liked by her students. So, not a huge loss.

The murder of Specialist Vanessa Guillen

This is a terrible story all around really. Death of this soldier as at least getting some real attention, albeit for political gain by some. Regardless, much of the blame is landing on the Big Green for (claimed) failures to really deal with ongoing harassment and such of female soldiers. Fair accusation or scapegoating ? I only know what I hear from the outside, and my understanding is the Army and other branches have stepped up attempting to deal with the issue.

What We Know About the Disappearance of Vanessa Guillen

Specialist Vanessa Guillen went missing from Fort Hood, in central Texas, on April 22. Over two months later, her remains were identified and another soldier was accused of her killing.

It's a real shit show at the moment.
    A) Because of Covid, the troops were checking in every four hours.
We now know someone had checked her in during the time she was missing, at least one time.
The S-2 does key control for the Arms Room keys
How that slipped past, I'm not sure, but the Staff Duty Officer missed an open Arms Room? The SDNCO wasn't checking in on that unsecured building with an Arm's Room in it?
I'm just guessing that shit was running just like it always does @ Ft Hood, everyone's flying by the seat of their pants just hoping and praying that they can get by at less than 50% effort.
