Rising GOP politicians to watch?

Gov Noem is doing well for South Dakota, IMO. She was already a US Congressperson before running for Governor, so she already has some "national political clout". She got constitutional carry signed into law as Gov, as well as standing up to protect Mt. Rushmore by warning the "Antifa types".

I'm from SD originally so I haven't stayed completely current with everything going on, but I try to as going home is a potential destination when I exit the Army in a few more years.

Noem comes from ranching/farming rural stock. Country girls have always had that "hot factor", and they connect well with average Americans. Hell, I married a Country Girl from Louisiana in 1978.

Hoping for Loren Culp here in WA, but I don't think going straight from small-town Police Chief to Gov will work no matter how rockstar his 2A Sanctuary creds.

She's half Cajun so there are some unique phrases I have had to adjust to over the years. And everyone in her swamp hometown has a nickname, and nobody uses their real name for some reason.

The wife took to rural New Mexico well. This is a vintage picture from 1982 of the wife on the ranch at age 21, a few months before I shipped off to Fort Rucker for Flight School. She had just graduated from the University of Arizona with her nursing degree. The wife enjoyed ranch life but was getting ready to spend nearly the next two decades living on Army bases, and me deployed to far off places. She adapted well to Army life. Certainly no dependapotamus.

I guess we've forgotten about Nikki Haley? She'd be my pic for President long before I'd support Pence. I'm assuming Pence will run next after Trump is done. Then we have Lauren Boebert of Colorado defeating a sitting congressman in their primary.

Anna Luna definitely says the right things. Positions herself as a Latina counter to AOC. USAF veteran and pro-gun. Hot as well, which helps.
