    Whether you decide to index it or not, make sure the gunsmith your using is aware that it is a suppressor mount, and cannot use a crush washer. I had one sub in a crush washer on a P/W device once, and I’m still a little annoyed years later.

    On a pin and weld I would index. And I also recommend the Precision Armament AccuWashers. They are by far the best I've used.

    Respectfully, wouldn't you be able to choose thicker shims as needed to get the desired torque and combine that with Rocksett? Just curious.

    Well I installed all 4 myself; cleaned, degreased, and used Rocksett. Timed all of them and torqued to 40ft lbs.

    Very interesting. I'll have to stick with the SF shims for my suppressed options. I'd hate to risk a baffle strike.

    OP..... did you open the flash hider package up? Every Dead Air flash hider and brake I have purchased came with a shim kit. It is sandwiched between the black card stock in the package.
