Question Anyone have experience with Black Hills 69 grain OTM 5.56?

    Search results were all TMK-oriented.

Anyone have any hands-on experience with BHA 69 grain OTM 5.56?

I have a small stash of BHA 77 grain OTM, and am wondering what I gain or lose if I buy a large amount of BHA 69 gr OTM, vs. sticking with 77 grain OTM.

Thanking you in advance for any observations and wisdom ...

Although we've not shot that specific load, I can tell you that between 750 and 1000 yards, the 77 gr hit probability increases. It just has that extra mass to retain a little more velocity and fight the wind a bit better.

500 and in? No significant difference other than exact POI.

My experience with the BHs 69 gr OTM IS; it’s a 600 yd rd tops.
