Seeking advice on night vision

I tape lead sheet (wrapped in tape)
to my battery pack.

Edit: I just upgraded my counterweight. I cut 1/8” lead sheet into a 5”x2.25” strip. Weighs 1/2 lb. Whacked it lightly a few times against a 45lb plate to give it a bit of a curve. Encased it in duct tape. Whacked it lightly a few more times up against the back of my helmet. Then I stuck rough velcro to the inner curve and soft velcro to the outer curve. 2” wide velcro tape. Stuck the weight to the smooth velcro that runs horizontally on the back of my lid between the screws, from back when I ran the helmet painted and bare, and velcro’d shit to it. Stuck my battery pack to the weight, then put my helmet cover back over the whole thing. Comfy.

I measured some fishing sinkers to about 2/3 the weight of my binos and put them in some zip lock bags and stuffed into my counter weight pouch.
