I know what it will do to wild boar. I always like to test ammo on boar and that .357 sig was consistent.

But caveat it is still niche
A while back, did you mention that you have a bunch of .357 sig ammo laying around?

I have some, too. Might sell it and the barrel I have to my buddy getting the gen 5 G23.

Unless he doesn't like it. Then I'll get the pistol from him and it's all mine.

What round were you using on pigs?

I have some Hornady 147 gr XTP and I'd have to look but pretty sure it chronographed at 1175 fps from my Glock brand G32 barrel.

That would be a good pig load imo.

I was able to handle a Gen 5 Glock 23 the other day. That thing is beefy!

With that being said, I await my new 40 caliber overlords! As soon as the Glock 22’s are in stock, I will have one.

EDITED TO ADD: If I had to compare slide thickness, I would absolutely say that they modeled it after the Glock 37 GAP slides.

    That’s interesting.

They better do a 357 barrel

My understanding is that there will be .357 SIG guns made in Gen 5.

Do you have a source? A timeline? A Gen 5 G31 would be awesome

Local blue label dealer I’ve been dealing with for about 15 years. He didn’t have a time line.

I’m seriously tempted to go back and pick up the 23. I’ve been wanting an MOS version Glock for a while now and that’s what that one was.

I’m not dying to get one but I would like another and I can sorta see them doing this as it really is just a rebarrel and marking them a different model. They are essentially the same gun. So I will just wait patiently.

Front Serrations and no finger grooves, yes please.

At some point I will RMR one of my guns but I am not in a hurry. But the .357 sig is a good hogger along with that G20.

I doubt I will get back into .45 glocks but if I did; G41
