    Thermal Imaging scope?

    Hey guys,

I was thinking about buying a thermal scope. I already have a PVS-14. I have a large plot of property and want to be able to blast the occasional coyote. I want something doomsday tough, nothing fiddly.

I recently heard Flir has stopped selling T.I. scopes to civvies. Can anyone confirm?

The eliminated much of the civ stuff under the guise of focusing on other revenue stream but they danced around the intent and why behind the decision if memory serves me right.

TOS had a long thread on it.

What is your budget? I've spent a bit of time behind the Halo-LR and it's an amazing scope, but not cheap. But if you want to buy once, cry once, the Halo LR is amazing.

My budget is flexible. I certainly don't have 10k laying around but I have been known to make poor choices when it comes to money.

From a couple years of research best bang for the bucks:
    Halo LR
    Trijicon stuff
    Flir pts 536
    Pulsar trail xp50

    12 micron>17micron
    600+ res is preferred
    50htz+for a scope
Get oled or amed over lcd screens.

Im plan on getting a halo lr in the next year or so.
