Doubling Up Level IIIA Ballistic Plates

Can anyone provide a link to some testing info on doubling up Level IIIA hard ballistic plates to see if it resists 5.56 FMJ rounds. Came across IIIA plates from RMA that weigh .9 pounds each and are .25" in thickness. Curious to find out if backing it up with another one, how would it rate, possibly IIIA+?

If anyone has done testing on this it would probably be MrGunsnGear, check YouTube, but I'm not sure if I'd trust my life to two stacked plates.

IIIA+ is not a rating, and it will not stop rifle rounds.

Contact the plate manufacturers and ask. Straight from the horse’s mouth.

How 2020. First thought is to ask a YouTube reviewer who may have done “testing.”
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand
