Which Safariland holster for concealed carry?

    Firearm - Glock 17 Gen 4 & 5

OWB carry for me, currently using Raven Phantom for OWB and Milt Sparks VM-II for IWB (very rarely carry IWB).

The only experience I have with Safariland is duty type holsters.

What are some good Safariland holsters for CCW?

Safariland has the 6378 ALS - fairly secure, but none too concealable. It is sort of a minimized duty holster. Besides the relative security, it does have the relative ease of converting to paddle or various belt attachments.

I may also have an old Safariland IWB for a Hi Power too. I really don’t associate Safariland with good CCW.

I agree with hardtohandle. I have multiple 6378 holsters, I do not consider them a CCW unless a winter jacket is used.

I'm still using my Safariland 0702 and 0701 owb holsters.
Being owb type holsters, I'll be wearing some type of cover garment (but I wear a cover garment with my iwb holsters, too).

I don't think those two holsters are made anymore but there's either new, old-stock or used holsters available on Ebay, Amazon, or other suppliers. On other handguns, I'm also using Safarialand's ALS and GLS type holsters.

Safariland is now part of the Safariland Group which includes multiple suppliers of law enforcement gear. Safariland itself seems to have largely ceded production of concealment gear to its sister company, Bianchi. Safariland does still produce some concealment rigs though some I'd consider more for soft uniform wear than pure concealment. If you hit the Bianchi section of the Safariland Group website, you may find something you can use.

I'd agree the whole "Safariland" versus "Safariland Group" thing is somewhat confusing.

I would consider Safariland only for duty and other open-carry gear.

Their 519x and 18 are concealable, but no better than what you have.
