Any Glock Armorers - Glock Gen 5 Part Question

Are all the Glock Spring Loaded Bearings (With LCI) compatible with Gen 3-5?

Glock part number: 2714, LCI-Spring Loaded Bearing 9MM-Black.

    Post_1,
Yes (and the part number is just 2714, although suppliers sometime put additional digits/letters in for their own purposes).

    Thank you!

I noticed that the part number was consistent but the letter prefix differed with various online retailers. Luckily I have spares on hand.

    Second Question

How common is it for the spring loaded bearing to break?

This is a first for me for any Glock to have this particular part break.

I've never seen one break, but it's a little piece of injection molded plastic so it's far from out of the question.

All WECSOG in my experience, either "improvement" or chewed up a little from improper or repetitive detail stripping.

Neither had I until yesterday. No biggie at the end of the day, I had the proper replacement part on hand.

I had to look up WECSOG...

Brand new Glock 17 Gen 5, standard field strip, clean and lube. 683 rounds at the range yesterday. Detail stripped after, and noticed the broken bearing.

I’ll chalk it up to poop happens.
