Clint, Curious if you or any user has accuracy tested the 12.5 you offer?

The 12.5 are new and have not shipped yet.

We expect them to be the same as our other lengths.

Feel free to try one out and see if it meets your needs.

Thinking it over, might be a good first run into a 12.5!

    Play gun
    No suppressed
No carrier with a dozen 30 rounders waiting to be emptied
Precision oriented, steel for fun, groups on paper and challenging positional with/without artificial support.
    Small package, 1-8/10 eventually.
Not worried about barrel life ss vs cl/mel
Most likely loading for it, accurate of course and safe, not trying to reach any particular PSI, a hole is a hole
They don't offer it. I got it from them to test a few years ago.

With what you just said, go with a carbine gas.

Any particular reason why, other than weight savings, you would want a shorter handguard verses a 10.5" or 11.5 one? If I am running a bipod, I don't want to run the risk of the handguard flexing and making contact with the gas block if I am running the bipod at the end of or slight back from the end of the handguard. It may seem unlikely, but free float handguards still have some flex in them when loaded.

With this in mind then, I would look at Compass Lake engineering and have them do a custom barrel in either a krieger or bartlein, I would also call white oak and see if they will do one for you. V7 weapon works will also fit that bill for stainless extremely accurate barrels with slightly larger non suppressed ports. If you really want to stretch and go big you can grab a proof research. If you want to keep the costs down, I still recommend the centurion barrels as they will deliver sub moa 10 round groups just as all the options above.

I’m waiting on a Noveske 12.5, if not then I would look at Triarc.

    12.5" barrel

I scored a Hodge 12.5 barrel couple months ago. Still hasn’t build it yet. Have been patiently waiting for the 11.5” handguard to pop up
