So, I've got an AFAB on a SR15 w/ 16" a really like it. I was planning on doing a p/w on the 14.5" mod 2 with an AFAB. What is the difference in the AFAB and EFAB that makes one better than the other on the 14.5? Thanks

EFAB is better at flash suppression in shorter barrels.

For 16” and longer, just get the AFAB.

Linear comp/"blast shield" would negate the compensating effect of an EFAB.

I've been running an AFAB on one of my 16" guns for a while. My experience with it is the same as the OP's, but I did have an individual next to me on the line in a class once who complained of the blast to the side. Honestly I always thought he was just being a bitch though. Anyway, the only reason I don't have them on all my guns is because they don't make a version that's keymo compatible.
