    EFAB is better at flash suppression in shorter barrels.

    For 16” and longer, just get the AFAB.

    ^^ Absolutely.
    Linear comp/"blast shield" would negate the compensating effect of an EFAB.
    A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

    I've been running an AFAB on one of my 16" guns for a while. My experience with it is the same as the OP's, but I did have an individual next to me on the line in a class once who complained of the blast to the side. Honestly I always thought he was just being a bitch though. Anyway, the only reason I don't have them on all my guns is because they don't make a version that's keymo compatible.
