    Colt SP1 experts

Is this an original pistol grip on a Colt SP1? Nothing appears altered on the gun. No finger grooves, nubs, bottom has a trap door, It does not appear to be but just checking. Slab side, no shell deflector.

That was a popular 3rd party grip back in the 90's. I have a couple and like them because they look A2ish but have a bit more palm and storage.

    They are not Colt OEM.

Thank you Sir! I didn't think so but wanted to be sure. I'm tempted to offer a BCM carbine in trade for it.

I would offer it. The Lonestar grips are still popular and you could swap it out for a real Colt A1 and then sell it off. People like them on clone guns and Mk18's.

If it's a fair trade get it...if in decent shape, you just upped to a rig that will increase in value. Good investment
