    The box says "assembled in USA" but I recall when I researched this before some were saying parts came from Japan, or Taiwan, or the PRC but I found nothing definitive.

    Heck it could have parts from all three, I dunno.

    Crap I'm sorry. That was for my Sig Arms Optic.

    The Streamlight box says, "Made in the USA with US and foreign parts."

    Thank you Ron3.. Midway has these on sale for $125 shipped. Now that I know where made, Ill pop on one.

    I modified the magpul forend to work on it to start. Then installed an arisaka 300 with tape switch on a proctor direct light mount to keep it low profile.
