I sent an email to the Wisemen company regarding the legality of the split fix when it was first offered for sale. I had second thoughts after ordering one. I asked if they had an approval letter from the ATF.
The response was quite negative, argumentative. They insisted it was not a modification and claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. "Noah" replied that he was canceling my order because I was "concerned about something that wasn't an issue".
If it is to be used only for transport I guess we're supposed to take it off when we get to the range, reinstall it for the drive home
I think the SBR laws, brace laws are a bunch of nonsense. I don't have enough money to become a test case. I'll leave my brace as is
