Looking for good Gunsmith to do Pin & Weld for 14.5" AR Barrel - UTAH

Ok thanks do you torque the muzzle device down to any particular torque value? Should the top of the pin sit slightly below flush of the muzzle device to get best looking weld?

Since it will be pinned, the muzzle device can be torqued to the lower end of the torque range for less deformation of the threads. (This is a minor detail. Getting the muzzle device correctly aligned is more important than torque value.)

I think the weld would be less visible if the pin were a bit low, but talk it over with your welder.
