    Carrier Keys

Just finished watching a SOTAR video on Good & Bad Gas/Carrier Keys.
Which got me to pull out the two brand new BCM BCG I bought. Looking up the spec, the hole for the key should be
    .1805 + or - .0008. These BCM keys are .161 dead nuts. Not .162 or .160 but .161.
Slop for the Amazon ZZ pin set used is not accounted for.

Am I missing something or not understanding the spec right ?

If the BCM is measuring .160 them something is wrong with the BCM or the pin gauges you have.

At .160 the gas tube won't even enter the key.

My fault for trusting the pin gauges being in the correct hole. Threw a mic on most of the set and a handfull were in the wrong slots.

    Good catch Tedfs

The BCM likely takes the .180, 1805, and .181, but not the .1815 or .182.
