Me too. I already have a SP89 converted to MP5K-N, 94 converted to MP5-N, and an unaltered 94 A3. I won’t be buying a SP5 until I can get one through one of our distributors at dealer cost.

You won't miss the extra $600 once you have it in hand.

Very true. If I didn’t already have my German mp5 bases covered, I’d jump on a SP5 and SP5-PDW even at current pricing.

Totally agree on this. I actually sold my MKE right as the SP5 dropped and upgraded to a TSC converted HK94/MP5N.

    You did fine.

Back in 1983 I laid out $350 each for a HK91 and HK93. I remember walking out of the store thinking what a huge idiot I was given that ARs were going for around $225-250 each and how much I overpaid. Within a decade I was more than content with my purchase.

If you are buying guns to resell, overpaying is a big deal. If you are buying guns for life, price really doesn't matter a lot, having one beats the hell of out "man I should have bought one of those when they were only X and when they were actually coming in."
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

This is exactly what I have been trying to explain to people. Especially concerning purchases right now. You said it better than I have.
