Got an alert that they’re back in stock this afternoon, but they’re already out of stock again. $4K, OUCH.

I saw that. I have to admit, I was disappointed when I seen the price go up even more.

I won’t lie that part of the reason to get the HK version is the investment potential. I know the copycat version are Not the exact same thing, but if I just wanted a 9 mm sub gun there are a lot of other options. I guess somebody paid it, and who knows in 10 years we may both be kicking ourselves that we could get it at 4K.

I’m glad I bought my SP5K two years ago. Had a B&T 3 lug barrel installed by TSC Machine. Thanks goes to JoshNC

Should not have sold it. I broke my own rule of never selling firearms.

Until one of these #@%$# scratcher tickets pay off I’ll muddle through with my 6 y.o. Z-5P/BFSIII.

I’ve already given HK enough $$$$$$.

At $4k, I’d rather buy pre-89 HKs and convert. At least they can easily be converted to FA with a registered sear or pack and 922(r) restrictions do not apply.

I'm hoping to eventually lay hands on the HK offerings as SBR candidates since they already have paddle mags and such. But yeah, at current prices might as well buy prebans.

What is insane is MKEs and POFs are maintaining prices just under what the HKs are going for.

Just pulled the trigger on a Sp5....dealer on gunbroker (with tons of feedback) had one with a buy it now price of 3590 so I pulled the trigger. More than what I was looking at earlier this year but I had to do it. An Hk MP5 “clone” has been my grail gun for most of my life. I over paid but considering the market I think I did ok.
