    A1 stock length?

    Does anybody know what the length is?Also,what about the RRA entry stock (stubby one)Thanks

    It's 5/8" shorter than an A2 stock.

    i thought i read somewhere that the RRA entry is the same length as an m4 stock fully collapsed.

    I don't see why A1s are so much harder to find than Entry stocks. You'd think more people would prefer being able to use the rifle buffer...

    Yeah

    I had to hustle for a few days over on TOS to get a decent Colt A1 stock. But they're out there.

    Don't a few places still make A1 stock's?

    Cavalry Arms makes an A1 length fixed stock that they call their C1 model. Used A1 stocks abound on the 'net.

    The buzz on those Cavalry Arms C1 stocks is that they are very flimsy. I do not know this firsthand, but that's what I've read out there on the net.

    I was looking for Colt original A1 stocks only.

    Really. I have a couple and I'll be damned if I can detect any flimsiness relative to my A2 stocks; they actually seem a bit sturdier than the Colt A1 stocks. I haven't had any problems with either.

    Only the buttplate. The stock itself is excellent.
