Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

I've been mistaken for working at other places before but never had people be rude about it. I just gave them my best answer or pointed them to someone who did work there and let them know I did not.
Oddest one was a woman asking me if she could us the fitting room at a women's clothing store. I worked in a different store and was just there with a friend. Maybe to shoppers all mall employees look similar?

I get that regularly too, even though my 5.11 shirts, black slacks and asskickers don't look like any retailer uniform I've ever seen... been awkwardly mistaken for LE once or twice too. "No ma'am, cops wear blue, Sheriff deputies wear green, NEITHER wear khaki."
