I looked it up, interesting mount and one I haven't seen before. Curious how solid and well it holds zero.

I have a similar one from Attero Arms on my Arsenal and really like it. But it was out of stock.

Larue used to make one back in the day. Maybe 10-15 years ago

    Here goes. Pretty solid rig.

I finally got my RDS installed on my AK74, see the pics. Looks pretty good and is solid.

Shot the AK-74 with dismal results. Probably 2.5-3.0 MOA. Not like my Arsenal 1.0 MOA gun. Going to try some other Ammo next Sunday.

Was able to run some CQB drills just fine. Just not super accurate at distance I guess.

Anyone know if the 74 is less inherently accurate than 47?

2.5 is about right for an AK. 1mo is unusual. You could do better with different ammo..... maybe! They were never precision rifles. If I'm wrong someone correct me on this but isn't the standard accuracy for a military M4/M16 4MOA?

You are correct, we just get so spoiled with amazing AR's and the hand loads. And we lose perspective.
