So the judge essentially wants ALL of the money necessary to defend Kyle against these ridiculous charges turned over to the state in order to get him out. This is nothing more than lawfare against the accused. Every last fact of the case proves that Kyle is neither a continuing threat to the public nor a flight risk. He is a de facto political prisoner to the State of Wisconsin.

I very much hope the defense gets to present their case on the 25th and IL actually denies extradition, because this is beyond bullshit.

Non-leftists in America need to band together and create a censorship-free Internet platform. The irony there is, you could end up with this platform hosting everything from evangelical chat forums to firearms stuff to pornography, all on the same platform. Which is kinda' what Youtube was supposed to be--for a while.

In fact ironically, I remember as recently as a year or two ago, conservative commentators crowing in an almost triumphant tone about the "death of old media" and the ascendancy of conservative or at least non-leftist thought on the new media platforms, notably Youtube. Some went as far as to say that conservatives were dominating Youtube.

Well Google got the 411, realized they were protected by the federal law carve-out from liability for violating freedom of speech, and shut that s#$t down.

ETA: Josh Hawley's bill targeting big tech to remove that federal protection from them unless they open their platform to opposing views, is a good idea. But I don't see this succeeding, big tech has all the $$$ and buys off even Republican congressman. We'll probably need a new posting platform.

Pornhub, InRangeTV posts stuff that gets removed from Facebook/YouTube, anything goes over there. They even launched their own free VPN.

At this point it pays to a have a downloader on tap. That way important info you know will be scrubbed can be saved for posterity and further sharing on [temporarily] less restricted sites.
